Iain Lee appeared to defend his former I’m A Celebrity campmate Rebekah Vardy after her online row with Coleen Rooney this week.
The comedian and radio host shared his reaction after Coleen posted a statement accusing Rebekah of leaking information about her to the press.
Iain tweeted that he was ” not a fan” of Rebekah but that he didn’t think it was fair for her to be heavily criticised online while heavily pregnant..
Shitty thing and all and most of you know I’m not a fan but struggling to pile on to a pregnant woman. Dunno. Am I being silly?

Continuing, he said that attacking people on social media can be “incredibly stressful”, which is risky in pregnancy.
Stress can be very dangerous during pregnancy. Twitter pile ons are horrendous and incredibly stressful. What she’s been accused of is shitty and awful. But. But. That’s all I’m saying. https://t.co/DqczG4OBJi

Rebekah was accused of bullying Iain while they were both contestants on I’m A Celebrity in 2017. After the show, she denied that she had singled him out.
What happened between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney?
On Wednesday, Coleen posted a statement claiming Rebekah had leaked stories about her to The Sun newspaper.
Coleen said that after getting suspicious, she had been putting fake information about herself on her Instagram stories and had blocked all of her followers from seeing them except for Rebekah in a bid to catch her out.
Coleen said that she had screenshots that prove Rebekah was the only one who could have seen the information and shared it with journalists.
Rebekah strenuously denied the accusation, saying others have had access to her social media accounts.
