Phil Rudd has been released on bail after being charged (image courtesy of Sky News).
The 60-year-old has been released on bail under the conditions that he stays in Tauranga and has no contact with anyone related to the murder plot.
Rudd is due back in court on November 27th.
He is best known for being in AC/DC, the band responsible for songs including Highway to Hell and Back in Black. He joined the rock group in 1975 before leaving eight years later. He then rejoined in 1994.Explore more on these topics:
