Actress Lynda Bellingham has passed away at the age of 66.
The Loose Women panellist had been battling cancer for over a year. She was first diagnosed with colon cancer in July 2013. It later spread to her lungs and liver.
Her agent, Sue Latimer, released a statement on behalf of the family. It read: "Lynda died peacefully in her husband’s arms yesterday at a London hospital.
"Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff for their tremendous care and support.
"Actor, writer and presenter - to the end Lynda was a consummate professional."
Lynda, who rose to fame in the Oxo television advertisements, revealed recently that she had decided to stop her treatment. She is survived by her husband Michael Pattemore and two children, Michael and Robbie Peluso.
