Actress Sarah Hyland has broken up from her boyfriend of five years, Matt Prokop.
The Modern Family star walked the red carpet at the Emmys alone this week and her representative later confirmed that the two had broken up, saying “they decided they would be better off as friends”.
The 23-year-old seemed to be enjoying herself at the event, despite her recent heartbreak, sharing a photo with co-star Sofia Vergara on Twitter.
