Love Island’s Zara has pissed fans of by using ‘the N word’ in an Instagram video.

In the video, which was uploaded by her boyfriend Adam Collard, Zara can be seen rapping a Chris Brown song.

You can kind of figure out what happened… but basically she rapped a racist word and all hell broke loose.

Despite fans outrage, Zara initially seemed unbothered, simply responding: “It’s a song omg.”

However, eventually the 21-year-old apologised, and the video was deleted.

“I am sorry that I offended anyone? My point is that it wasn’t aimed at anyone, it was lyrics to a song that has been in the public domain for many years, a song that many people know.”

“But I am genuinely sorry to have offended anyone, it upsets me that people would ever think I was being intentionally nasty or ignorant because I wasn’t.”

A friend of Zara’s also spoke to The Sun, in order to clear up the situation : “Zara had no intention of offending anyone. She made Adam delete it as soon as she realised what she had done.'”

Adam was dumped from the villa earlier this month, and since then he and Zara have become official.

Steer clear of racism, and we’ll all be okay!
