The singer said she was absolutely “gutted”.
Adele has announced that she will be rescheduling the start of her Las Vegas residency, leaving fans devastated.
Taking to Twitter, she was reduced to tears as she explained that her show just isn’t ready yet.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you but we have been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID,” she said.

“Half my crew and half my team are down with COVID and it’s been impossible to finish the show and I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m gutted, I’m gutted and I’m sorry it’s so last minute we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time.
“I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m so sorry to everyone who has travelled again.”
She continued: “I’m really, really, sorry, I’m really sorry. We’re on it, we’re going to reschedule all of the dates. We’re on it right now and I’m going to finish my show and I’m going to get it to where it’s supposed to be. I’m so sorry, it’s been impossible we’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready. I’m really sorry.”
Many fans rushed to the comments to support the artist, assuring her that she had done the right thing.
“I had tickets to see you tomorrow and it’s fine, health will always come first and especially in times like this. Can’t wait for all the shows to get rescheduled cos I can’t wait to have the best time of my life with you on stage. Please don’t feel guilty, it breaks my heart, I love you,” one fan wrote.
Others weren’t so happy.
“I travelled all the way from Sydney Australia to see Adele tomorrow in Vegas. I spent thousands of dollars on this trip and now she cancelled the night before. Very unprofessional and I am heartbroken,” they wrote.
