Adele is going to extreme lengths to avoid getting sick on her tour

She really doesn’t want to have to cancel another gig.

Last month Adele had to cancel a concert in Phoenix due to a severe cold. The singer posted an emotional video on Instagram apologising to fans.

She also revealed last month that she no longer eats pizza as it damages her vocal cords.

But it seems that Adele is taking a much more drastic approach to being fit to perform than just giving up pizza.

According to The Sun, Adele is being very cautious about who she talks to or even stands near, in order to stay healthy.

She reportedly told the crowd as a show in Michigan this week:

‘I had to cancel a show on the last leg of my tour in Phoenix, Arizona and I’ve actually never been so devastated in my life.’

‘We have a doctor that comes in once a week that comes in and everyone gets a badge so I know I can go up to them and talk to them.

‘So everyone gets a badge and if they’ve got a badge it means I know I can go up to them and be like, “Hi, how are you?” and touch them.’

So basically a doctor decides who is healthy enough for Adele to be around and labels them as such. And it’s bad news for anyone who doesn’t get a badge as Adele explains:

‘If they don’t have a badge, you are quarantined.’

If fairness, if you had a voice like Adele’s you’d look after it too!
