It's just been revealed that actor Aidan Quinn will be in Dublin this weekend.
He'll be in town for the Audi Dublin International Film Festival to attend the 20th anniversary celebration of Michael Collins.
Aidan played Harry Boland in the film, directed by Neil Jordan, which documents Ireland’s struggle for independence.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of honoring this remarkable film,” said Aidan Quinn, “It was an absolute privilege to work on and with, this extraordinary group and remains one of my favorite film making experiences."
The film will have its 20th anniversary premiere on Saturday, February 20th at The Savoy Cinema on O’Connell Street and will be released nationwide in cinemas in a new digital format from March 18th.
The premiere is particularly exciting as it will be attended by Neil Jordan, cinematographer Chris Menges and some of the extras who took part in the film.
The 2016 Audi Dublin International Film Festival runs from February 18th to 28th.
