Well, someone had to do it.

It’s been a whole four days since Coleen Rooney publicly called out Rebekah Vardy’s account for viewing her fake Instagram Stories and then allegedly selling them to the press.

Since then, there have been jokes. There have been memes.

There have been arguments as to why Coleen maybe shouldn’t have done what she did when Rebekah is heavily pregnant.

It’s been a whole thing has this WAGatha Christie drama, and it seems as if the scandal is showing no visible signs of slowing down just yet.

Especially now that Paul Rudd knows about it.

During an interview with NME about his new Netflix show, Living With Myself, Rudd is informed of the drama by co-star and all round gas human being Aisling Bea.

Bea starts off by explaining who Wayne Rooney he describing him as a “massive football player.”

Rudd nods along and confirms that he does, indeed, know who Wayne Rooney is.

Bea then goes deep into the story, detailing the suspicion, the fake Close Friends list, awarding emphasis to the most important parts of the tale.

She knows how to heighten the drama. She has done this before.

Rudd nods along respectfully as he takes all of this in.

He doesn’t respond to the drama with more than a few cursory grunts and a brief glance off-camera – simply because he so shook over what he has just heard and not because he doesn’t actually really care.

Bea finishes her summary off with a: “Isn’t that brilliant?!”, accurately capturing the vibe of a nation who has been enthralled and inspired by this exceptional tea since earlier this week.

Scenes, all round.
