Besides Graham Norton and our very own Tubs, Alan Carr is one of our fave chat show hosts and his approachable, engaging way of interviewing guests puts them at ease (and results in the best craic too). The Channel 4 host uploaded a new snap to his Instagram account and the caption "I think being a hipster suits me" is evidence of his trademark witty self. However, apart from the caption, we're all about the photo which shows Alan minus his glasses and with a beard, completely different to the guy we know and love.

His followers are also amazed by the change and have been commenting on the image saying that they wouldn't have recognised him, that they had to look twice and one person even said she was so shocked, she dropped her phone. The majority of people seem to think he looks better beardless but we're of the opinion that if Alan is happy, he should rock the look regardless of opinions to the contrary. Although Alan Carr's Chatty Man ended in March of last year we still hold out hope that he'll return to our screens for a new show sooner rather than later. What a guy!
