Huge congrats!
Alex Jones, host of The One Show, has given birth to a baby boy.
She made the announcement during a live episode of the show last night.
The presenter revealed that she gave birth to her second child last Monday.
She and her husband, Charlie Thomson, named their gorgeous new son Kit Thomson.
What a lovely name!
The doting mum posted a snap of baby Kit on her Instagram, and wrote:
“And then there were 4!!!”
“Little kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3. Teddy, Charlie and I are absolutely besotted by baby brother and are enjoying this special time as we get used to being a foursome and generally breathing in that lovely newborn smell!”
“A huge thank you to the midwives at the birth centre, Queen Charlotte Hospital for everything you did for us.”
Fans were very quick to comment on the snap, congratulating her on the new arrival.
“Aww congratulations you lot!! And welcome precious Kit. Well done Al, you wonder woman,” wrote one follower.
