I’m of the opinion that Amber Rose is kind of an icon.
She goes through so many media frenzies, drama with Kanye West, the Kardashian clan and her ex Wiz Khalifa, and somehow, she sails through them relatively unfazed.
She’s known for her outspoken opinions, feminist ideals and modelling abilities, all of which should help her out as she launches her own talk on VH1 in the US.
The show, which is yet unnamed, will be produced by chatshow KING Dr. Phil.
The weekly series will feature Rose conducting candid interviews with celebrity friends and leading what is billed as provocative, and humorous conversations with guests on topics including pop culture, motherhood, relationships, friendships, race, and entrepreneurship.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, VH1 GM Chris McCarthy confirmed the news.
“Amber has inspired millions of young women by overcoming homelessness to become a wildly successful entrepreneur,” he said.
“…She is a devoted mother, a strong advocate for women’s rights and a celebrated author all of which make her an ideal host”.
“Amber is a perfect addition to the VH1 family because our audience is interested in hearing unique perspectives from those who are unapologetically themselves and not afraid to take a stand on issues they are passionate about”.
Given her spats with countless celebs, I’m sure her show will be more than a success.
