Just released images of American Hustle show Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper channelling the high octane glamour of the 70’s.

In a world away from her Hunger Games character Katniss, Jen is a sultry siren dressed in white.

American Hustle reunites Lawrence and Cooper with their Silver Linings Playbook director David O Russell.

It focuses on the FBI’s infamous Abscam operation of the late 70s and early 80s, which ultimately led to the conviction of a US senator and five members of the US Government’s House of Representatives.

Curly hair is a different look for Bradley

Due for release in December, American Hustle is tipped as a potential Oscar contender following the reception given to Silver Linings Playbook – which won Lawrence the best actress Oscar and scored Cooper his first ever nomination for best actor.

Co-stars Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner also feature in the just-released series of images for the film.
