George Clooney has been voted the world’s number one MAG (man ageing gracefully) and while it might not come as much of a surprise, he did beat off some strong competition.
The Ocean’s Eleven star, who turned 53 earlier this year, was celebrated for being comfortable in his skin and not trying to look younger by dying his hair.
His close friend Brad Pitt claimed second position with Johnny Depp, Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman finishing off the top five.
Matt Damon took sixth place followed by Matthew McConaughey (reckon seventh place doesn’t do him justice), Will Smith, Sean Penn and Colin Firth.
Surgeon Asim Shahmalak of the Crown Clinic hair transplant Centre in Manchester, which conducted the poll, said: “Clooney is a worthy winner.
“He has been a global sex symbol for 20 years and he has just as many female fans now as when he first emerged on ER.”
