Murray is travelling form China to Belgium to compete at the European Open. However, he told The Times how he is ready to jet back to London early if Kim goes into labour early.
He said:
"Obviously the baby can come any time from pretty much next week. "I would adjust my schedule if I couldn’t go to Antwerp. My plan is to play Antwerp and then I am done through to the Davis Cup. "If the baby came early, I would miss Antwerp and then maybe play at the Paris Masters."
In January 2019, the 32-year-old told reporters he would be taking a step away from tennis in order to prioritise his health.
At the time, he said:
“I would like my daughters to come and watch me play a tennis match, hopefully understand what’s happening before I finish. "But I’m aware that probably isn’t going to happen now. I’m a bit sad about that.”A few months later, though, he made a big return at the Queen's Club Championships where he won the men's doubles tournament alongside Feliciano López. He later appeared as Serena Williams' mixed doubles partner in Wimbledon over the summer.
