Angelina Jolie apparently had a lucky escape on Sunday night as it was reported that the car she was travelling in was involved in an accident on her return home from a screening of Unbroken.
The actress is believed to have been unharmed in the incident which reportedly saw one of her vehicle’s tyres explode following a skid in the rain. Reports from X17 Online have stated that the car skidded on the wet road and hit a curb with force.
“The car slammed into the curb at a significant speed,” an eyewitness stated. “Angelina must have wondered if they hit another car. It was pretty bad - the tyre exploded and it’s amazing nothing worse happened to the car. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has whiplash.”
The incident was said to have happened at approximately 6.45pm.
