Ariana Grande has released an emotional statement about splitting from Mac Miller

After rumours flew around yesterday that Ariana Grande and Mac Miller have parted ways after two years of dating, she confirmed that it is indeed true with a very emotional statement. Taking to her Instagram story the star wrote:

"Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favourite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"

She then continued by saying:

"Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you."

Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were inseparable during their two years together and it was reported he was her rock in the months that followed the Manchester Arena terrorist attack, however now their schedules and separate lives are proving too challenging to remain in a relationship and therefore they have upsettingly decided to call it a day. Ariana ended the message by saying:

"I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!"
