Ariana Grande responds to Pete Davidson’s emotional Instagram statement

“I will always have irrevocable love for him.”

Ariana Grande has posted a statement directly responding to the emotional Instagram post her ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson, shared last night.

The comedian took to the photo sharing site on Monday night to share a lengthy and heartbreaking statement about the bullying he has endured over the last nine months.

Ariana has now asked her fans to be “gentler” with Pete, adding that she still cares keeping for him and his mental health.

She posted:

“I know you already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others. I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity.

“I care deeply about Pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet.

“I’ve learned through my own mistakes not to be creative on socials so I do understand, but you truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing, ever. Regardless of what they choose to display on social media or how they may appear in public, I can promise you that.

“So please let whatever point you’re trying to make go. I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.”

Ariana and Pete first got together in May this year, before announcing their engagement soon after.

The pair split in October, after deciding that it simply “wasn’t the right time” for them to be together.
