Earlier today, the gorgeous Ashley Graham revealed the first glimpse at her new son.
Two weeks after he was born, the 32-year-old model took to Instagram on Monday to share the sweet photos, which show the newborn holding onto his parents’ fingers.
“At 6:00PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world,” she captioned the photos, before revealing she would be introducing the little one on her podcast, Pretty Big Deal.”
“Meeting our son has made our hearts incredibly full and we can’t wait to introduce him to you on @prettybigdealpod tomorrow…”
And that big announcement was the baba’s name.
Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin have revealed the name of their baby boy: Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin.
During the podcast episode, Ervin admitted that, since he was a teenager, he has always wanted to name his son Isaac:
“I knew it was going to be Isaac, from here until then,” he said.
Apparently, Menelik is a nod to the first emperor of Ethiopia. While spending Christmas there, the couple came across the moniker, which also means son of the wise.
“Everything in his name is pointing to legacy,” the proud new dad said.
Ashley also opened up about her decision to give birth at home, rather than in hospital.
“Having made the decision to have the birth here, at our house, gave me so much clarity,” she explained.
“If I would have had the birth at the hospital, I think anxiety would have been through the roof. But because I was here, the lights were dimmed, it was a chill environment, I got to eat whatever food I wanted to, I could be in bed, I could be in the pool,” she said.
