“Increasingly alarming behaviour.”
The Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter has filed a restraining order against his brother, Aaron.
The singer said today that he and his sister decided to serve the order following alleged threats Aaron had made against Nick’s wife and their unborn child.
He added that he still loves his brother and hopes that he “gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” he said on Twitter.

“In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbours thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.
“We love our brother and we truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
Aaron Carter was recently diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, manic depression and acute anxiety.
The singer told The Doctors talkshow last week that he had been taking medication to deal with his illnesses.
