Barry Keoghan pulls out of blockbuster starring Paul Mescal
Keoghan has stepped away from the project.
Barry Keoghan has reportedly dropped out of the 'Gladiator' sequel. The movie also stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, and Joseph Quinn.
The Irish actor decided to step away from the blockbuster hit because of a schedule conflict. Keoghan is instead set to star in Andrea Arnold's next movie, 'Bird'.
Keoghan has allegedly been replaced by 'The White Lotus' star Fred Hechinger, according to Deadline. He will take over from Keoghan and will play Emperor Geta in the movie. Paul Mescal will star as Lucius in the 2024 film.

Keoghan's career has gone from strength to strength following his award-winning role in The Banshees of Inisherin. The Dubliner was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars for his performance as Dominic in The Banshees of Inisherin.
He celebrated his win by dedicating it to his baby boy, Brando.
"This one's for you Brando. Daddy loves you," he wrote following his Oscar nomination.
Barry and his girlfriend Alyson Sandro welcomed their first child together last August.
