‘My beloved queen’- Beyoncé’s tribute to Tina Turner is everything

Beyoncé shared, “I’m so grateful for your inspiration”

Beyoncé has penned a moving tribute to her hero Tina Turner following the singer’s death.

Turner died at her home in Switzerland on May 24th, her publicist confirmed last night.

The ‘Cuff It’ singer paid a moving tribute to the music legend on her website.

Alongside a photo of her performing with Tina Turner, Beyoncé wrote:

“My beloved queen. I love you endlessly,” she shared.

The Grammy winner continued, “I’m so grateful for your inspiration and all the ways you have paved the way.”

“You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion,” she continued.

“We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done,” she concluded.

Tina Turner’s publicist confirmed her death in a statement on Wednesday evening.

They told PA, “Tina Turner, the “Queen of Rock’n Roll” has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.”

“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” her PA added.

The singer reportedly passed away following a long illness. The ‘Proud Mary’ singer was 83 years old.
