Bitter fans fire a lemon wedge at Ariana Grande during her Coachella performance

Rude.

Well, they’re sour.

During her second weekend headlining Coachella and closing the festival on Sunday night, Ariana Grande was hit on the chest by a flying lemon wedge that came from the crowd.

During one of her final songs before bringing special guest, Justin Bieber to the stage for a surprise performance, a video from the audience catches the moment a piece of fruit seems to be intentionally flung at the star.

According to reports, many believe the attack comes from bitter Beyoncé fans as false reports claimed last week that Ariana was paid twice what Beyoncé was for her 2016 set.

The Blast reports that both Ariana and Beyonce received $8 million each. $4 million per weekend.

“We’re told the contracts for Grande and Beyoncé were structured exactly the same way,” they noted.

After getting hit by the flying fruit, the 25-year-old ran offstage saying:

“What the f*ck? That’s because one of y’all threw a lemon at me! S*it.”

However, the 7 Rings star didn’t leave that stop her from putting on an incredible show and continued with her tracks like the pro she is.

Justin joined Ariana to sing his track Sorry, explaining to the crowd that it was a complete surprise for him too and his first time back on the stage in two years. The 25-year-old also revealed that he’s working on a new album and has his “swag back”.

Trilled with the performance from both his stars, manager Scooter Braun shared an image of Justin and Ariana writing:

“Pop star avengers type shit! Lol. @arianagrande@justinbieber that was epic. So proud. #arichella #coachella@sb_projects . Anything can happen. He is back!”
