“His constant message was just treat everyone with kindness.”
Kelly Rizzo, the wife of the late actor and comedian Bob Saget, has spoken publicly for the first time since her husband’s death earlier this month.
The Full House star passed away on 9 January. He was 65-years-old.
In an interview with the US talk show Today, Kelly described her late husband as “the best man” she’s ever known.
When asked about who the “real Bob Saget” is, Kelly reiterated his kindness.
She said: “He was just there to enjoy life and he just wanted to make people feel good.
“If we went to a restaurant he would talk to all the waiters, the waitresses, he knew all the hosts. Everyone knew him and loved him.

She continued: “His constant message was just treat everyone with kindness, ’cause you know, he had gone through so much stuff in his life, and he knew how hard life could be.
“And so he was always just so kind and loving to everybody.”
She added: “He was just the best man I’ve ever known in my life, and he was just so kind and so wonderful and everybody that was in his life and knew it. And anybody that would just casually meet him was like ‘Wow, this is a special guy.'”
Kelly married Bob in 2018.

Earlier this week, she paid tribute to him on Instagram.
Sharing a picture, she said that she is trying not to think that she was “robbed of time”, but rather to think about how she was “lucky” to be married to “the most incredible man on Earth”.
She wrote: “We had that time to make each other the happiest we’d ever been and change each other’s lives forever. I got to be the one to love him and cherish him. He deserves all the love. Every ounce of it. Because that’s how amazing Bob was. He was love.”
