Huge congrats to Katie and Paul!
Katie Stevens, who is perhaps best known for her performance as Jane Sloane on The Bold Type, is expecting her first child.
The actress shared the news with a Reel on Instagram. In it, she lip-syncs to Queen Herby’s song Rabbit Hole. She starts by mouthing “Have you seen my silhouette?” and then she steps away from the camera to transition into full glam, showing off her baby bump.
In the caption, she writes “surprise”.
Katie’s Bold Type co-stars flooded the comments with messages of congratulations.
Aisha Dee, who plays Kat Edison, wrote: “Hottest mama in the world!!”
Meghann Fahy, who plays Sutton Brady, penned: “That’s my literal baby.”
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland commented with “She posted it!” while singer Betty Who said: “Omg today’s reveal day you didn’t even warn me.”

Katie married her partner, writer and producer Paul DiGiovanni, three years ago. Paul also announced Katie’s pregnancy on his own Instagram grid.
He shared a photo of them on the red carpet at the Country Music Awards at Bridgestone Arena, and as well as congratulating the crew behind the award-winning track Buy Dirt, he celebrated Katie’s news.
He wrote: “@thekatiestevens and I had a little surprise of our own to share on the carpet.”
Earlier this summer, Katie celebrated their wedding anniversary by posting a video from their wedding day.
Accompanying the video with a caption, she wrote: “3 years ago was the best day of my life and it’s only gotten better every day since. I love you @paulblg and I’m so lucky that I get to live life with you. Still so grateful that I get to be loved by you. Happy Anniversary.”
