Bono “Extremely Lucky” After Tailgate of Plane Damaged Mid-Flight

An investigation is reportedly underway in Germany as it has been claimed that parts of the rear door of an aircraft fell off during the flight. The plane was carrying U2 frontman Bono who was making his way to Germany. 

It has been reported that the private jet, which was flying from Dublin to Berlin, was just off the German coast when parts of the tailgate of the plane reportedly fell off. The plane was able to land safely in Berlin.

“He was extremely lucky, the plane could have gone down,” a source told the Daily Mail. “About an hour into the journey they heard a big thud coming from the rear of the plane. They were startled but they continued on and made the descent into Berlin airport. When they landed they were horrified to learn that the compartment at the rear of the plane had completely detached.”

The German authorities confirmed that the plane had been damaged during the flightIt is understood that an investigation into the incident is now taking place.
