It looks like Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have called it quits just one year after tying the knot. The couple are reportedly heading for divorce, a source close to the pair told TMZ.
The Circus singer and her partner reportedly had a major fight before ending their relationship.
According to the publication, the singer’s husband accused her of cheating, but it is not known if the claims are true.
Asghari reportedly moved out of the couple’s home and is living in his own home.
A source confirmed the pair are planning on ending their marriage following the incident.
“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” the source said.
News of their split comes after months of fighting and tension between the pair. Insiders claimed their relationship has been on the rocks for quite some time.
Britney married Asghari on June 9th, 2022. The couple tied the knot at the singer’s home in Los Angeles.
The couple confirmed they were expecting their first child together in April 2022, but Britney sadly suffered a miscarriage a month after sharing the news.
They have been together since 2016 after meeting on the set of Britney’s music video.
