Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams dated after they met on the set of 2005’s Brokeback Mountain.

They welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in October of that year, before separating on September 2007.

The Australian actor tragically passed away in January 2008 from an accidental overdose. He was 28 years old.

Philipps paid tribute to her late friend on Monday in a series of emotional videos to her Instagram story on Monday.

As MGMT’s Time To Pretend played in the background, she said:

“I was just driving and I was thinking about my friend Heath who died 10 years ago and this song came on, ‘Time to Pretend.

“It came out after he passed away and I remember when it came out, because [I thought] it made me think of him.

“I just thought he would have liked this song. And for some reason, every time I hear this song… it’s weird.”
