She might have been on cloud nine after her BAFTA win last night but Cate Blanchett took the opportunity to pay tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The Blue Jasmine star dedicated her Lead Actress award to the late actor, whom she starred alongside in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
In her acceptance speech, an emotional Cate referred to Hoffman as her “buddy” as well as “a monumental presence.”
