Cheryl has lashed out at her critics following backlash over her dance moves
The lovely Cheryl has lashed out at critics, following quite a bit of backlash over a performance at the end of 2018.
The singer appeared on a number of television slots in the run up to Christmas, performing and promoting her new single.
And naturally, critics and trolls had thoughts.
Cheryl was targeted for not singing "in tune" and for her raunchy dance moves (she licked her hand and people went mad).
And now, the mum-of-one has spoken out, pleading with her fans to "just enjoy" the music.
Speaking at the launch of The Greatest Dancer, Cheryl said: “It makes me sad that we really put a lot of focus on to criticism. Just enjoy."
“It’s entertainment, we’re not trying to revolutionise the world."
“People are just trying to entertain you with their talent, with their skill, with their passion."
“I’m just looking forward to watching people shine.”
She's dead right, tbh.
Cheryl also recently spoke to The Sun about her fellow judges on The Greatest Dancer, praising them for their talents.
“They’ve had really long careers in dance and in performing arts.
“Mentoring other people one-on-one like I did on X Factor might help me with the mentality of how things go. But in terms of knowledge and stuff, they’re more than qualified.”
We're sure she'll be brilliant!
