Chris Martin granted a restraining order against fan who thinks they’re dating

He pressed legal action when he became worried about his families safety.

Coldplay star Chris Martin was granted a restraining order after a fan because worryingly obsessed with the star.

According to reports, the 42-year-old became concerned about the woman he called “delusional” after she repetitively insisted they were dating, cold calling to his house and leaving packages inside his gates.

Chris also claimed in a report published by The Blast that the woman in question left letters outlining suicide and death as well as mentioning his children by name and her “relationship” with the star. He notes that she is a complete “stranger” and doesn’t know her personally.

Chris decided to pursue legal action when he became fearful for his children and his girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, having called the police on the woman before as well as getting his security to ask her to leave from the front of the property.

The order is reported to instruct the stalker to stay 100 yards from Chris and his children Apple, 14 and Moses, 12 as well as keep her distance from Chris’ girlfriend, Dakota.

A court hearing is said to occur next month.
