Chris O’Dowd Confirms He Will Make An Appearance In Thor 2

We raised a concern that Chris O’Dowd is in just about everything at the moment and well, it might actually be true. The Irish star has confirmed that he does, in fact, make an appearance in the second Thor movie entitled Dark World.

Now, at first because we assumed that O’Dowd is such a funny man, this had to be some sort of weird but hilarious joke, but it is entirely true.

O’Dowd told Indiewire magazine: “Actually, you know what I've done, just for fun because I didn't think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie, so I've done a scene in the new Thor movie, just for that. I just do like one scene, which was quite fun.”

However, the actor has assured that he is not exactly planning a career in superhero movies: “I don't know if I'd do an action movie because I don't know if I could keep a straight face honestly, I just think it's so silly. Like I love watching them but I can't imagine me doing one.”

Thor: The Dark World will be released in Ireland in October and will see most of the original cast reprising their roles.

Is he going to play a Norse God? Or maybe the funny pal of Thor’s girlfriend? Something just really doesn’t add up here...
