Colin Farrell Said Boozing Has Left Him With Huge Memory Gaps

Hollywood’s Irish bad boy Colin Farrell said that his former booze fueled lifestyle has left him with memory gaps and he can’t even remember attending some high profile events.

According to the Irish Independent, The In Bruges actor said that he is enjoying his low-key lifestyle and joked that it was probably best that he couldn’t remember some of the parties he attended.

“I had a good bit of my memory erased with three years of drinking. There are certain things I will never get back. Certain evenings and nights and that’s probably a good thing,” the 36 year old actor said.

The actor is starring in the remake of Total Recall, which will hit the big screens in August and is currently living in the US to be close to his two children James (9) and Henry (2).

“The two boys mean the world to me so when I’m not working I want to be in LA with them.
Despite his desirable Hollywood lifestyle, Farrell said that he still feels like an Irish man and that will never leave him.

“Ireland is a really easy place to carry with you. I get home to Dublin and I have such a deep history, familiarity with that place and a deep love for the people, the culture, the accents.”
