Congratulations to the happy couple! Cian Healy is now officially engaged

Hearty congrats to rugby star Cian Healy, who is now planning his wedding.

Yes, the Leinster and Irish prop has proposed to his long-term love, Laura Smith. The duo have been together since their schooldays - but split for a few years in 2012 when she moved away to New York for her career. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Laura and Cian earlier this year[/caption] They reunited in 2015 - and now are engaged to be married. Laura is really well respected in her chosen field - advertising - and has a high-profile career. She studied at Smurfit for her masters in marketing, and also has a degree from DBS. She currently works as marketing director for foodie company, Strong Roots.

Independent.ie says she and Cian have been sharing the happy news with friends and family in recent days.
