The sound of wedding bells is in the air for former Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor after he popped the question to his girlfriend Rhian Sugden.
The couple got engaged when Oliver got down on one knee in front of 1,000 theatre fans at the Manchester Opera House. The soap star, who played Dr. Matt Carter, had just performed on stage in an Agatha Christie play and was thrilled when Rhian said ‘yes’.
Rhian took to Twitter to share the good news.

The pair also recently purchased their first house together.
