Corrie star denies she is dating Chris Hughes after he ‘confirms’ their relationship

Love Island's Chris Hughes spoke to The Sun today gushing about his new found romance with Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote. Speaking to the publication, he discussed how much they have in common and that she has even met his parents. He said:

"We actually have a lot in common as well so it has been nice to have that resemblance with someone else." "I’ve been up north to see her and she’s been down south to see me. She met my mum and dad – you can’t avoid mum and dad." "She lives up north and I live down south and although you think that may not be a difficult situation – it is." "We’re still talking and trying to make things work."

However, although it was only earlier today that The Sun confirmed their romance, Georgia May Foote took to Twitter straight away to confirm she is not dating anyone and nobody has met her parents. AWK-WARD.

I am not dating anyone. At all. No one has 'met my parents' and i am well and truly single. So please stop with the stories. I didn't chose or want to be in the position i am in so i'm not going to look for something else. Please leave me be x

Chris then quickly tweeted in response to the story again saying:

"Woah this isn't true. Been twisted to shit.. I actually said in that press that I'm not dating her and that I'm very much single, hence why I choose to talk about that and clarify it. Boarder line, not okay."

Eh? Well this is even more awkward. So what is going on? Chris Hughes split from his Love Island co-star Olivia Attwood earlier this year and now she has confirmed that she is back dating her ex Bradley Dack. Maybe Chris jumped the gun trying to confirm a romance that just isn't at steady level yet to compete with ex Olivia? Who knows. We are confused dot com.
