Daddy Cool: Nicky Byrne Has Revealed That He’d “Absolutely Love” Another Child

Normally when it comes to babies, it’s us women folk who start to heart the pitter-patter of little feet first however Nicky Byrne has admitted that seeing his sister-in-law, Cecelia Ahern, with her new baby has made him broody.

According to the Irish Daily Star Nicky has admitted that he’d “absolutely love” a new sister or brother for his twin boys, Rocco and Jay. Aw.

“Down the road Georgina and I definitely want another child, it’d be a great addition to the family,” said Nicky, speaking recently.

“Cecelia’s baby Sonny is so cute and he’s been great for the boys,” he added.

Nicky, who is currently appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, also said that he insisted on doing his rehearsals for the reality TV show at home just so he could see his twin boys starting school. Doting dad or what?

“I wouldn’t have done the show if I couldn’t train in Dublin,” said Nicky.

“I didn’t want my children starting school and me being over in England. So I train here and it’s great,” he added.

Nicky and his lovely wife Georgina who contributes to Her.ie.

The Westlife star also revealed that he wants to spend more time at home now that his days with the band are over.

“I get to see Georgina in the morning and bring the kids to school. I’ve been back and forth for 14 years and so I didn’t want to go back to that,” he said.

Here at Her.ie we absolutely love Nicky and we can’t blame him for wanting to spend more time with his family. He definitely gets our vote for dad of the year!
