Joey Essex has revealed that he has a new lady in his life, saying that he thinks the romance could go the distance.
The former TOWIE star is dating an unidentified woman in the UK and admitted that his feelings had taken him by surprise.
“I wasn’t looking to meet someone so I really didn’t expect all of this. I didn’t want to get into a relationship because I have been loving the single life – it’s amazing. But I think we could end up together. It’s definitely heading that way,” he said.
However, he revealed that he is concerned that his fame will “freak her out” and she won’t be able to deal with the press attention.
“If our relationship gets serious, it’s going to change her life. She’ll end up doing interviews with magazines and photoshoots. I need her to be able to handle the pressure. Dating me is a life-changing experience.”
The I’m A Celebrity contestant was previously engaged to co-star Sam Faiers but the pair broke up in 2013.
