We have a lot of time for David Beckham and this week, he yet again proved that he's a absolute gentleman.
The football star was in London recently and decided to take some time out to visit an eleven-year-old cancer patient, who had always dreamed of being a footballer.
Lloyd Burton is a huge Manchester United fan and had been scouted by his favourite team, as well as several other clubs, but was left wheelchair bound after being diagnosed with a brain tumour and enduring chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
As part of the
Stand Up To Cancer fundraising campaign, Burton got to meet his hero and was said to have been so shocked that he couldn't speak for several minutes.
"I had no idea that I was going to meet David Beckham, it was such a brilliant surprise. He was really nice and we chatted lots. He told me a bit about his family and other normal stuff and we talked about football quite a lot too. I love football and Beckham is one of my favourite players so I'll always remember that day."
