Demi Lovato has released the first trailer for her documentary and it looks powerful

“I’m on a journey to discover what it’s like to be free of all demons.”

Demi Lovato teased the first trailed for Simply Complicated on Youtube last night. The documentary which premieres exclusively on the platform on October 17, 2017 will focus on Demi’s rise to fame and sharp fall when she because addicted to drugs and alcohol in 2012.

The story which is told by Demi, focuses on how she suffered with her mental and physical health in her early teens and how people around her found her difficult to work with.

Nick Jonas alongside the singers other close friends speak out in the documentary, with Nick focusing on the 2010 incident when Demi punched one of her dancers in the face and gave them a black eye.

“I went on a bender of like two months, where I was using daily” she reveals in the documentary, saying that one thing she always strives to be is honest and now with the release of this documentary, the first ever from the 25-year-old, she hopes to share her past and her dreams for the future, as she continues on the road to recovery.

“When I’m comfortable in my own skin, I feel confident, when I feel confident, I feel sexy and when I feel sexy… watch out” she added. The documentary airs on Youtube October 17 and you can watch the trailer here.
