She attended the event with Prince Harry.

If Meghan Markle has found living in the royal fishbowl difficult, she’s never let it show – until now.

Meghan was overheard sharing her true feelings about the pressure she’s under as a royal on Sunday night.

She and husband Prince Harry attended the premiere of The Lion King in London last night and met some of its stars.

Pharrell Williams was overheard praising the royals.

“So happy for your union,” he told them.

“Love is amazing. It’s wonderful.

“Don’t ever take that for granted but what it means in today’s climate, I just wanted to tell you it’s so significant for so many of us. Seriously.

“We cheer you guys on.”

Meghan smiled and replied, “Thank you. They don’t make it easy.”

Harry then leaned in and whispered a joke to Pharrell that had everyone giggling.

It followed a number of unfavourable media reports about the royal couple.

Meghan was recently criticised for not allowing anyone to take photos of her while she sat in the royal box at Wimbledon.

She and Harry also caught flak when it was revealed that their renovations at Frogmore Cottage cost the British taxpayer £2.4 million.

But last night looked to be a happy occasion for the royal couple.

They also met Beyoncé and Jay Z – Meghan’s the first time publicly coming face-to-face with Beyonce since the singer paid tribute to her in her Brit Award acceptance video earlier this year.

Beyoncé was overheard telling the Duchess that she loved her and describing baby Archie as “beautiful”.
