EastEnders actress Edna Doré has died at the age of 92.
Her agent, Belinda Wright, confirmed the news to BBC before explaining that she had passed away in her sleep on Friday.
She told the broadcaster: “I’d known her for more than 30 years and she was a wonderful actress and great fun”.
Edna played Mo Butcher on the popular soap for two years. She also had minor roles in The Bill, Casualty and Gavin & Stacey.
