Eastenders’ Jake Wood Wants To Take Part In ‘I’m A Celebrity’

This would be interesting!

Eastenders’ Jake Wood is soon to leave the show and it seems he already has his heart set on another TV project.

The actor has no concrete plans for his year-long break from the soap but he does have a fascination with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

Speaking to Radio Times recently, he said:”I do really like that show. Everyone I’ve spoken to who’s done it has said they really enjoyed it. I’m not squeamish – so eating strange stuff wouldn’t bother me.

“It would be a good holiday for the family as well, wouldn’t it? And the money would be nice. But I think the main appeal is that it’s a different kind of experience”.

Although nothing has been confirmed, it sounds very much like Jake could be headed Down Under later this year.

The 43-year-old also revealed that by the time he finishes filming, he will have appeared in “987 episodes”.

“Max has had a very hectic nine years. So I think both he and I need this break” said Jake.
