The Grammy Award winner is currently on a hiatus from recording new music, but it seems that he’s still being remarkably sound to his fans.
There are countless examples of Sheeran being an incredibly decent fella – we especially like this story of him going out on the lash with some Irish J1 students and his famous appearance on the Late Late Toy Show – but his most recent act of kindness was towards someone that needed it the most.
Melody is 9 years old and is unable to walk or talk, but she understands everything.
Unfortunately, Melody’s various conditions have caused her to spend 80% of her life in the hospital, she suffers from a condition called Rett syndrome.
This being said, she’s still one of Ed Sheeran’s biggest fans and the look on her face as she meets her idol is enough to melt the coldest of hearts.
