Everything we know about Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s future husband

So as we all know by now, the gorgeous Princess Beatrice is engaged to be married. The news was announced today that the Queen's Granddaughter will marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. An official statement from Buckingham Palace said the Duke and Duchess of York were "delighted" to confirm the news. They said that the couple got engaged during a weekend break in Italy in early September. The wedding will take place in 2020, with more details to be announced "in due course". Following the news of their engagement, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo said:

"We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together, and can't wait to be married. "We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness."

All very exciting. But the big question we've all been asking is "who is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi?" Well lads, first things first, he's a very handsome fella from Italy, who seems to adore Princess Beatrice. Truthfully, that's all that matters, but we're here for details.

Mozzi and Beatrice made their first public appearance at the National Portrait Gallery's 2019 Gala. Not so long ago!

He's also a friend of the family, which is nice.

According to Town and Country, Edoardo's stepfather was Christopher Shale, a British political operative and a friend of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Edoardo is no stranger to the life of royalty, as his father is Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi. Sounds pretty impressive, eh? Oh, and he's also loaded in his own right, which is impressive.

He founded real estate firm Banda in 2007, and sits as the company CEO to this day. The company specialises in finding and developing homes for wealthy clients.

Here's something super interesting - when the pair get married, Princess Beatrice will become a stepmother. Yep, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has a toddler son called Wolfie (we know, random), from a previous relationship. So Wolfie will have step cousins in the form of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and of course, Archie Windsor.
