Eight Years Is Nothing Says Leona As She Cosies Up To 1D Star Liam Payne

Leona Lewis has opened up about her relationship with One Direction star Liam Payne and admitted she’s ‘having fun’.

The 27-year-old X Factor winner revealed all to Look magazine and said that age doesn’t play a part in her romance with the teenager.

“If you have a bond with someone it (age) doesn’t come into it. I’d date someone younger or older, age doesn’t matter to me. Or looks, really – it’s all about maturity,” she said.

Leona refused to comment on how many dates she and Liam have been on but the pair are believed to have spent a full hour locked in a dressing room together during last Friday’s Children in Need show.

Apparently, the pair has been friends ‘for years’, which means that Leona met the tot before he was even legally allowed to have a tipple.

Liam recently ended his relationship with girlfriend Danielle Peazer and he revealed that his loins burn for snooze-fest Leona.

“I do have a crush on Leona, she's hot! I have met her. She's hot,” he said.

However, it seems Leona has already pictured herself zipping down the aisle with the 1D star as she has been thinking about the kind of wedding she would like.

“I know exactly where I want to get married, it’s a beautiful place in Europe. I’d like to be married just before I’m 30, when I’m 29, but I don’t know if it will happen.”

In the past, the singer has remained tight-lipped about her private life, which makes us think that the romance is just another way for Leona to sell off a few copies of her latest album.
