Davide and Ekin-Su plan on using some of their Love Island winnings to bring their mothers on a trip of a lifetime to New York City.
The pair took home the grand prize of £50,000 after winning the reality dating competition by a landslide. They raked in a massive 63.69% of the public vote. Runners up Gemma and Luca received 14.47% of votes. The third-place couple, Dami and Indiyah took 11.77% of votes, narrowly beating fourth-placers Tasha and Andrew, who received 10.07%.
While you may expect the winners to possibly invest the money into a new place to live, it seems they intend on treating their mothers first.
In an interview with Capital Radio, Davide said: “I’m going to buy a trip for my mum. We’re thinking of going to New York, me and Ekin and our mums.”
He also shared that he planned on investing a portion of his earnings.
Since leaving the villa, the winning duo have been quite busy. This week, it was reported that Ekin-Su is potentially in talks to sign a deal with a major fashion brand.

A source told The Sun that the Turkish actress is reportedly expected to sign a brand deal with fashion house Oh Polly worth more than £1 million.
The insider said: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand.
“She is the most in demand Love Island star ever.”
They added: “Ekin’s appeal to brands appears to have gone way beyond all that. It’s not just clothing brands, but big, global corporate brands that want to work with her. She’s going to be a very, very busy girl.”
