Ekin-Su was travelling back to Manchester when the incident occurred.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were left shaken after a terrifying experience on a recent flight. The couple was flying from Bodrum to Manchester when the engine on their plane reportedly “exploded four times”.
Ekin-Su took to Twitter to open up about the scary ordeal. The actress said it was “the most terrifying experience” she has ever been through.
She tweeted, “Nightmare experience on a Jet2 Flight from Bodrum to Manchester the engine on the left exploded 4 times flames and sparks.”
The Love Island star said it was like something from a movie.
The pilot had no choice but to conduct an emergency landing in Antalya after the engine allegedly went up in flames.
Ekin shared, “It was like something from a movie. The emergency landed in Antalya. Most terrifying experience ever! Still worried about if we will make it safe.”
The airline confirmed their passengers landed safely after the incident.

A spokesperson shared:
“Flight LS984 from Bodrum to Manchester followed standard procedure and diverted safely to Antalya on Thursday 24th August, after the crew reported a technical issue.
“Due to the late hour, customers were provided with hotel accommodation in Antalya and were flown home last night. At no point was anybody’s safety compromised, however, we would, of course, like to apologise for the disruption caused.”
The couple, who recently rekindled their romance, were enjoying a holiday in Turkey together.
Earlier this week, Davide confirmed he was back with his fellow Love Island star on Instagram.
The reality stars reportedly ended their relationship in July but got back together this month.
