Ellen Fitzpatrick

She’s back on our screens.

We adored her in Game of Thrones but Emilia Clarke swapping dragons for capes in her latest endeavour, and she’s spilling all the details.

During an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Emilia revealed all about the new role she’s set to play for an upcoming Disney+ series.

The new series, Secret Invasion, is the latest Marvel superhero show to hit the streaming service and while Emilia seems excited about it, there are still some underlying nerves.

“I’m already scared,” Clarke said. “The first people I spoke to from Marvel were their security team and I am convinced that there is a man outside my house. There’s been a car parked there for a long time, and I swear to God, he’s undercover.”

There were many rumours of her joining the cast, but she’s just confirmed the whole thing for us.

The series is based on the Skrull-centric comic book of the same name, so if you want to familiarise yourself with it you know where to go.

The Emmy nominated actress didn’t reveal who she would be playing in the series, but she will be starring alongside Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull named Talos, and One Night in Miami star Kingsley Ben-Adir as the villain.

And Olivia Colman was in talks for a spot on this show so it could get very interesting.

When Emilia was asked if she was good at keeping secrets, assuming she would have had to do a lot with Game of Thrones, she said: “That’s what I thought, but they schooled me. And so, I don’t know what to do.”

It is unknown when the series will air, but by the sounds of it, Emilia might let it slip.
