Emmerdale actress Anna Nightingale welcomes second child

“Just in time for Christmas our little pudding has arrived safe and well.”

Huge congratulations are in order for Emmerdale’s Anna Nightingale, who has welcomed her second child.

Anna, who played Andrea Tate on the British soap opera, shared the good news on social media.

Posting a picture of the new addition’s hand on Instagram, the actress told fans that she gave birth to a baby girl earlier this month.

She wrote: “The wait is finally over, hello bubba.

“Just in time for Christmas our little pudding has arrived safe and well.”

She continued: “The four of us are home and in our cosy bubble of sleepless nights and endless cuddles.”

As her daughter was born on 1 December, Anna named her Ava Noëlle, an appropriately festive name.

Anna was met with congratulations from her costars in the comments section.

Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy on the soap, wrote: “Omg congratulations!!!!!!!”

Natalie Ann Jamison, who plays Amy Wyatt, said: “Yay!! Congratulations (….) Beautiful name x x x.”

Actor Max Parker wrote: “Congratulations and Hello Baby Ava.”

Anna and her partner Daren Dixon are already parents to their daughter Autumn. She announced her second pregnancy in September after organising a photoshoot with OK! Magazine.

Sharing the images to Instagram, Anna said: “It’s been the hardest secret to keep but we we @darendixon, Autumn and I are SO excited to finally announce our little family is about to get bigger.”
